WHAT IS THE NONPROFIT SECURITY GRANT PROGRAM (NSGP)?
The Nonprofit Security Grant Program (NSGP) provides funding support for target hardening and other physical security enhancements and activities to nonprofit organizations that are at high risk of terrorist attack.
Estimated total funding available for fiscal year 2025: $500 million
Non-profit Eligibility includes tax exempt 501(c)(3), religious, private education, and healthcare facilities
WHAT DOES NSGP FUND?
The NSGP is a federal initiative that provides funding to nonprofits for physical security enhancements and activities. These grants can be used for:
Purchase and installation of security equipment (including improvements) and cybersecurity measures on real property (including buildings) owned or leased by the nonprofit organization at the time of application
Security-related planning, exercises, and training
Contracted security personnel
